Invented in Canada in the 1870s, Crokinole is a favorite worldwide. It is a game of strategy, dexterity and skill. If you enjoy this combination, it is definitely the game for you.
The Board
First, you will need a board to play on. This is a round wooden board with several sections and pegs. The wood is highly polished and sanded, so your pieces move easily when flicked. Please note that all of our boards are made one-by-one at the factory and each board will be different. They require some care and maintenance for optimal play, and there are some things you should consider before buying a board, please check out our care/handling instructions as well as some information to help manage your expectations about our boards HERE.
The Pieces
Next, you will need the pieces. The pieces are designed to be as frictionless as possible, so they slide smoothly over the Crokinole board. The set has enough for four players, but you can play the game with as few as two.

The Rules
The rules are fairly complex. They are meant to facilitate gameplay, but understanding them will take a bit. That is why we recommend that you read the rules carefully and plan your strategy with them in mind.
The Location
You can find Crokinole boards in parks, pubs and at gatherings. You can play with your spouse, kids or strangers but remember this game can sometimes get a bit heated.
