This has to be the simplest tool we have ever seen. This was requested by a speach therapist at a local school who needed some simple "progression" game to reward students who were completing phrases or activities. Each time the student completes a small goal they can move the caterpillar forward one hole.

Yes its very simple. Many kids like to use it as a simple game, each taking turns rolling a die and moving a caterpillar along, though 2 sets of caterpillars would be required for this. One mother reported using it to "track" her children's success in potty training, making their bed, or any number of tasks where a small child wants a tactile way of measuring his/her success.
